Information on the processing of personal data for the guest

Data protection declaration within the meaning of Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council), we inform you of the following.

Your personal data are in particular

  • Your master data (surname, first name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, date of birth) as well as language and license plate number
  • the data in travel documents and ID cards
  • the data on the payment method and in connection with payments (e.g. bank coordinates, credit card data)
  • the date and duration of the stay

Special categories of data are health data and data on special needs.

PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING

The data provided will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Fulfillment of legal obligations
  • Processing of pre-contractual and contractual measures relating to the stay (reservation, stay, departure, etc.)
  • Forwarding of messages and telephone calls addressed to the guest
  • Storage of data to facilitate future bookings and inquiries
  • Sending information, offers and news from the hotel and partner companies and business partners by e-mail, post and other means of telecommunication about the hotel, the surrounding area, local events, etc.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is:

  • Statutory or legal obligations
  • the fulfillment of pre-contractual and contractual measures and obligations
  • the consent obtained from you 
  • legitimate interests (e.g. improving our customer service and customer proximity, including in the area of direct advertising and video surveillance to protect people and property from possible attacks, theft, robbery, damage, vandalism, to prevent fires and for occupational safety)

RIGHTS OF THE PERSON CONCERNED

Right to rectification and erasure: In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, you can request the rectification or completion of your personal data at any time. You also have the right to erasure in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR. You also have the “right to be forgotten”, in particular for data that has been published, i.e. the necessary steps will be taken to delete all links, copies, replications or similar.

Right to object: You can exercise your right to object at any time in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR and amend or completely revoke your declaration of consent with effect for the future.

Right to restriction (or blocking): In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you can also request the restriction of the processing of personal data. The data collected may then only be processed with individual consent or the processing must then be specifically restricted.

Right to data portability: In accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to request the transfer of your personal data to another controller.

A right to lodge a complaint with the state supervisory authority is also provided for under Art. 77 GDPR.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONSENT

Consent to the processing of additional special categories of data is voluntary. Without consent, special arrangements in this regard cannot be taken into account, even with regard to further bookings.

Consent to data processing with regard to the sending of information, offers and news from the hotel is voluntary. If personal data is not provided, no offers and news will be sent.
